As a pivotal digital trade channel reaching over 90% of consumers in Russian-speaking regions, the Ozon platform currently hosts over 500,000 Chinese sellers and boasts an annual transaction volume exceeding $12 billion. Conversion rates for its light industrial products, 3C electronics, and home goods categories are 22% higher than the industry average. Furthermore, through services such as low-barrier entry policies, Russian-language label generation, assistance with EAC certification, and integration with FBS (Fulfillment by Seller) warehouse logistics, the platform has significantly reduced operational costs for Chinese sellers. Data indicates that for sellers utilizing FBS warehouses, the cost ratio associated with reverse logistics for returns has dropped from 11% to 6%, while the risk of incurring customs clearance demurrage penalties has been reduced to nearly zero.
Tang Daiping stated: "The localization services provided by the Ozon platform—particularly the customized solutions tailored for precision tools such as high-precision pneumatic nail guns and smart fasteners—align perfectly with LiYu Precision's 'Technological Innovation + Global Branding' strategy. We plan to leverage this platform to rapidly penetrate the Russian-speaking market, replicate the success we achieved in Southeast Asia, and establish the Russian-speaking region as a new strategic growth point." Previously, LiYu Precision had successfully acquired customers with high precision through its independent website and social media matrix. In the first half of 2025, by analyzing search keywords used by buyers in the Middle East and Central Asia to optimize product descriptions, the company tripled its inquiry volume and shortened its sales cycle to just seven days. At the Moscow headquarters of YM TRANS GROUP, the delegation focused its discussions on optimizing the China-Russia cross-border logistics system. As a leading enterprise in Russia's logistics sector, YM TRANS GROUP has utilized its "China-Russia Express Rail + Overseas Warehouse" model to provide end-to-end solutions for over a thousand Chinese enterprises. The two parties engaged in technical consultations regarding transit times, customs compliance, and warehousing costs for high-ticket items, such as smart fasteners. Tang Daiping revealed: "In 2024, a Russian construction firm faced potential losses of $2 million due to a nail gun malfunction. By utilizing the China-Europe Railway Express to expedite an emergency shipment, we not only retained the client but also helped them grow into our largest distributor across the Russian-speaking region. Our current collaboration with YM TRANS GROUP will further reduce response times for spare parts, enabling us to guarantee a '48-hour spare parts delivery' service covering all major cities throughout Russia."
A representative from YM TRANS GROUP explained that their overseas warehouse in Moscow is equipped with an automated sorting system, enabling "same-day delivery" services for precision tools. Furthermore, through a direct interface with the Russian customs system, customs clearance efficiency has been boosted by 40%. The two parties also plan to jointly develop a "Smart Logistics Tracking Platform" to synchronize real-time data—including cargo location, temperature, and humidity—thereby ensuring that high-precision tools arrive at their destination without sustaining any damage.
During the visit, the delegation also held a specialized seminar with Belerui, a Russian financial and tax consultancy, to discuss cross-border financial and tax compliance. Belerui’s "Integrated Legal and Tax" service covers the entire value chain—from contract review and tax filing to dispute resolution—and is particularly adept at handling legal documentation and communications during overseas tax audits, thereby helping companies mitigate potential risks as they expand into emerging markets. Tang Daiping emphasized: "Localization and compliance within the Russian market are paramount. The company has reached a preliminary agreement on cooperation with the Ozon platform, with plans to launch an official flagship store in the third quarter of 2026, initially listing 5,000 sets of smart fastener solutions. Furthermore, it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Yunmeng Group to jointly establish a dual-warehouse network in Moscow and St. Petersburg, aiming to reduce the response time for spare parts within the Russian-speaking market to under 24 hours.
